33rd Annual Ramona Rodeo

Hello everybody! On May 16th I visited schools in Ramona, helped with TV News spots, and attended the rodeo kick-off party where I met Jerry Honeycutt of Honeycutt Rodeo, Inc.  Honeycutt has been the stock contractor for Ramona Rodeo since 1991. The next morning I attended some more schools to spread the word about the rodeo as well as give out some free tickets for Kids Day that Sunday. All three performances: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the rodeo went very well and I most definitely enjoyed myself! I also met my favorite California cowboy, Luke Branquinho.

I consider Ramona Rodeo my hometown rodeo.  It was my first rodeo queen title in 2010 as their Young Miss. Casey Tibbs, the legendary bronc rider immortalized in the bronze statue “The Champ” at the PRCA Hall of Fame, also called Ramona his hometown. Thank you Ramona for always welcoming me back with open arms every year!
